Same old, same old trip with my cycling buddies: Bill, Mark, Reginald, and Anthony. Normally John is here, but he's transitioning back from nearly two years in Rio and is currently a month-long transient in Boulder, where he appears to be squeezing in a bit of work between hiking, biking and yoga classes.

Although brief we had a great time with Gus and Kat. Through out our trip we had been accumulating bits and pieces of unique food items. Of course the problem ...

... disappointment is finding out that Sacagawea is not the independent and clever Indian guide as portrayed in "Night at the Museum" but rather the wife of their French Canadian translator! (kind of undermines Owen's argument that watching films is educational.) As it turns out, I couldn't be more wrong about Cannon Beach. It is a chocolate box type town with a spectacular beach and lots of cute clapboard antique shops. It is busy and everyone is on their holidays here, so ...

We arrived at our campsite to a bit of a surprise, I had spent hours researching, and yes I will admit I am a bit obsessive compulsive over these things, but I did spend hours researching campgrounds trying to narrow it down to what would be the best or let me rephrase that- campsites that would be the best suited for us along the Oregon Coast. I booked three sites along the coast and we ...
