    Enjoyed a good sleep in and then had a later start with a walk to join the North Beach Foodie Tour. Find this a great way to learn a little history as you walk around the city enjoying the best food and wine it has to offer. Shared this with people from Ohio. Pennsylvania, New York so was an eclectic group. We had by far the most adventurous tastes.

    ... pricey areas with big houses, house boats and amazing views. Some of the house boats even had sea planes docked outside. We arrived at the little ferry port having just missed one of the ferries, with an hour and a half until the next one. So I left Jane to set up on the grass (her bum was very sore from the cycling, at least mine is having a break after NYC chaffage) while i headed to find a shop and get something to keep us busy.     The view of the Pacific was amazing and there was a statue of Columbus looking out over the bay. I was there before starting time, but found a quiet space and *got my Headspace*, which was cool. The line moved quickly once we got inside and considering that we had to take photos through a window, there were still wonderful shots.

    There is no direct flight between Victoria and Cancun this time of year so instead of arriving exhausted in Cancun after an 18 to 24 hour travel day we decided to fly Victoria to San Francisco direct, then overnight and continue on to Cancun the next day. It was in fact, a brilliant way to travel.
