... in the 1940's, nice bloke in the skatepark told us about this campsite where we could stay in red woods so headed their for the night to only find that the stage campsite was shut for the winter season so had to deal with and rv site owner so we could stay ...

... only way imaginable: by going on a cable car ride. It’s great fun to hang on to a pole outside the car, but you have to watch out for hazards… such as people hanging on to the poles outside the cars coming in the other direction.

Thomas became such a big fan that we took him to the Cable Car Museum, where he could see the underground mechanisms – cables and gears and all – in action and ring (the life out of) a bell like the cable car ...

... docks in the harbour. Tons of people there to see them - they were really noisy, with all kinds of barking, vying for position, sleeping, and one small, deperate guy who kept trying to have sex with another one's head (the other one was none too happy about it!). It was really REALLY stinky!!!

We walked until we dropped and hauled our sore feet and red-rimmed eyes back to the hotel where we went to bed early and slept like the sea lions ...
