We didn't have a lunch stop until we were only 5kms away from Prestatyn when our legs were struggling, and a tea and a sandwich was found in a very nice place next to "The Waterfalls"...

The entry to Prestatyn is not a glorious one, mainly roads, but the sun peeped out to say hello.

... another day of heat as the hill climbing would have been slightly criminal if not.

Very little else to add, apart from the fact that the cottage we are spending the night is very nice, and the owners extremely friendly (with a big cup of tea and scones with marmalade waiting for us at arrival).

The owner drove us to the local pub "The Downing Arms" where we had a splendid meal and a good night walk back to the farm. The owner was waiting for us with the log fire on....
