      ... the worlds biggest tree named after him as well as a tank. The tree was huge, in a forest of huge trees. The short trek to the tree was technically our first hike in altitude. Andrew had a headache but that may have been from a lack of caffeine more than altitude related. Had to interrupt a couple doing a model shoot to get my shameless photos with some twin big trees.       ... floor. The autumn colours are beautiful, lots of golden leaves, the air is crisp and the imposing granite cliffs surround you on all sides. There are gorgeous stone bridges over creeks and meadows of golden coloured grasses. We checked into our little cabin, which thankfully had good heating.       ... Bettina decided to head to the pool for some relaxation and girly time. Tea was surprisingly nice, burger and chips with all the trimmings.       ... trip we have free time to ourselves really. We went back got bikes. Today was a bit duller and drizzly, perfect weather for cycling the Golden Gate Bridge. Cycling towards it i wasnt able to go very fast due to having flat tyres and bent handle bars. On the way to the bridge there was an outdoor shop, i thought i would buy a pump so id at least have pumped tyres but the guy in the store said to bring my bike in and he can do it for free, he also fixed my handle ...
