We fueled up on some ice cream before heading out for our hike (it is better for everyone if we keep Carolina's blood sugar stable!!) and made our way to the meadows to see the Soda Springs (carbonated water coming from the ground), Parsons Memorial Lodge (built by the Sierra Club in the early 1900's) all with a view of Lembert Dome in the background.
