Holiday winding down now. Tour starts at 7:45 am. We go to Sorrento, and the Amalfi Coast. It's an 8 1/2 hour tour takes 2 1/2 hours to drive back to ship once we are done sightseeing.Looks like it's going to be sunny , blue skies. ... Oh well no argument here! Monday July 14, the rest of the group had a slightly diff. schedule.. Mom and I decided to take the local bus to a resort town on the Amalfi Coast- Positano.. built into the cliffs..!! ... 100 or sompeople waiting for this train. I did get on and I did get a seat next to and opposite two of the slimiest, dirty neopolitan wogs you could ever imagine. And they were both smoking. Yay. ... with no umbrella, I sheltered with a few other people against the side of shop with a very small overhang, and once it subsided set off to buy myself a new umbrella.

I continued wondering around the streets and ended up buying a new pair of boots (to replace the boots that Rome Ruined…) I had a lovely pastry for lunch and then headed back to the hostel, this time by train.

As the weather was horrendous I spent the afternoon in the hostel doing laundry ...

... reminded why I'm not a fan of tours. The guide was excellent, but of course we had to pass by all sorts of interesting things to get to the next thing she was going to tell us about. I know she couldn't tell us about everything and my back couldn't have taken anymore as it was, but I am a fan of a good audio guide and going at your own pace... Next time?
