Holiday winding down now. Tour starts at 7:45 am. We go to Sorrento, and the Amalfi Coast. It's an 8 1/2 hour tour takes 2 1/2 hours to drive back to ship once we are done sightseeing.Looks like it's going to be sunny , blue skies. We continued exploring and admiring the beautiful town and then ate dinner at the most amazing place (best food so far). It was an outdoor seating with beautiful view of Sorrento streets. Two beautiful cities to visit today. Hopped on the train headed for Sorrento. Of course, right off the bat we get lost. Rick Steves says exit train station to main road ahead, turn left, walk to Piazza Tasso, veer right down to the Foreigner's Club Mansion where the TI is located, free maps of Sorrento & information located there. ... good but that was chockers. Looked up and saw da Gemma. Made our way upstairs and were seated promptly. We were only going to be in Amalfi for just under an hour so we let the waiter know. There wasn’t time for the lemon risotto so I had the very tasty cheese timbale with mushrooms and tomato. Peter had a fabulous seared blue fin tuna steak with couscous. Shame we didn’t have more time, would love to have had time for a long lunch.
