Here we sit in a McDonald's on a Sunday afternoon writing our weekly blog. McDonald's is where we often work on the blog, because of their free and dependable WiFi. The working week is over and it's "Me" time. Probably grab some lunch then walk to the Rockville Pike Guitar Centre. It's opposite Gillys but it far too early for 8.7% beer. Funnily enough I haven't eaten today as my stomach was a tad queezy. Nothing to do with the Duck Foot I'm sure. Later I'll be meeting up with colleagues at the Embassy Suites in old town Alexander to kick the **** out of managers reception. ...

    Ode to Blockbuster

A travel blog entry by adamel on Oct 05, 2013

... epic U-turn of my driving career, but I made it back to the Blockbuster. There were only two other people in there - one other customer, and the lady working behind the counter, who was very friendly as she asked if I needed help. I told her I would just like to look around, and she smiled and said sure. And so for one last time, I let myself wander the aisles, glance over the films, pick up the sample boxes, explore and wonder. There wasn't ...
