We packed up and left Yellowstone this morning. Wish it hadn't rained on us every day there but we still saw some amazing things. It sank in today that the trip was wrapping up. It was the last night camping as well. We drove through Lamar Valley on the way out. It's the place to go if you want to see buffalo. We saw a lot of buffalo. We went out next morning for a drive to Mount Rushmore before heading to the Badlands. We decided to drive the wildlife loop in Custer State Park and glad we did. We saw one bison on the early part of the main road then headed east over the loop. Clear day with not much breeze. going to be about 75 in black hills area.
