After a fairly chilly night in Custer, we woke up, took some (much needed) showers, and set our sights towards Yellowstone. I (Zack) can safely say that there are few places that I wanted to go more than this national park, so our anticipation was through the roof. I saw a few herds of pronghorn antelope and at least 5 on their own, as well as some deer. Stopped for some breakfast at Gooseberry Creek Rest Area and in the afternoon at another one for a nap. I hoped to spend the night in Casper but there was no RV stop anywhere to be found - certainly nothing on the outskirts. We left Cheyenne around 8:30 am. Terry Bison Ranch is only a few miles away from Colorado so we hoped back on to Hwy 25 S. As we were driving we noticed more crops growing on the vast farmlands - wheat and corn, etc. Coal trains chugged along the parallel tracks - a frequent sight in Wyoming.
