... We read that ND is one of the top honey producers. In the winter they ship the hives out to California for the warmth and to pollinate many of the fields out there. They have a lot of hives in SD too.

Day 1; Stop 3; Lusk, Wyoming Greeted by a deer on the side of the road (still deep in the city, surprisingly) and the sunset over the Rocky Mountains we moved on to our next destination. Never have I seen such an incredible sunset. Vibrant streaks of pink, purple, yellow, orange, and blue painted the sky, softly touching the peaks of the mountains. We left Cheyenne around 8:30 am. Terry Bison Ranch is only a few miles away from Colorado so we hoped back on to Hwy 25 S. As we were driving we noticed more crops growing on the vast farmlands - wheat and corn, etc. Coal trains chugged along the parallel tracks - a frequent sight in Wyoming.
