Drove down to Mount Rainier with Fabi's friends (Mary, Roger & Michelle) and went up to view it in a cable car. Breathtaking views of this snow-capped mountain. Ate at restaurant at 9000 feet.
Could see Mount St Helens and Mount Baker (180 miles away) from up there. Drove onto hot, dry, agricultural Yakima. Toe now really in ...

We did a sleep over in Ellensburg. We arrived early and went to visit the little city. They were having a Jazz festival so there were many people downtown. The campground was next to a fast moving river. We made dinner at The Cottage and got a good nights sleep.

We left Vancouver this morning at 8:10 AM and 68 degrees and began by retracing the route that had taken us to Vancouver from Seattle. It is the only route…down I-5. We spent about 20 minutes at the boarder stop…again the border agent was surprised to hear we had driven all the way from Florida. Are we nuts? Perhaps. The plan for today was to try and see Mt.
