... a sketchy closed curiosity shop. I followed the electrical cord, but unfortunately for my dead phone, it fed through a cutout hole into the window. I bought a 50¢ Dr Pepper and sat on the porch bench of the closed post office next door. This town consists of maybe four short streets intercepting highway 16. My grandma passed away peacefully surrounded by her family yesterday early afternoon. Thank you to everyone for their well wishes and prayers.
Today is John and my 13th wedding anniversary. A bit bittersweet, but pretty wonderful to spend it with family. Our family bought us a gift card to a local restaurant for an anniversary dinner tonight. There is so much love here right now.

I'll admit; being a towner who joined the circus last year has always made me feel on the outside (not always in a bad way, mind you) but last night I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Kelly Miller Circus is our family and always will be. Thank you, dear friends...we'll see you again soon.
... we travelled on to the KOA. Was a pretty nice campground. Very friendly staff. Well maintained. There was a Wet Hayride that night, but not for us! (If u had little kids they'd prly love it. They drove people thru the campground in a hay wagon. People on board as well as on the ground were armed with water balloons). I'm sure the kids had fun! We have arrived home, but before that, spent the last week visiting relatives in Indiana. Toured most of the state. Timing was right to visit Lance's dad at the funeral home :(, but saw many relatives and enjoyed the time together.
