... wearing guy in a truck driving down the road. And we crossed the main range it opened up to more ranch land and open grazing and we could see the ocean off in the horizon. We saw some waves in the middle of the distant blue appearing then disappearing and confirming with my binocs, yes a couple of whales!..i think. Need to confirm with a super zoom on the pics. We continued on this for a ways then got to the ocean shore ( ref pics) then ...

A nice restful day doing nothing, just walking around reading... taking door pics, enjoying the beach. We visited the harbor area, not so good, the glass beach, with very little glass, as people are fond of picking it all up... The weather is cloudy and cool.

Spencer needed to do a lot of work, so its been a nice day.

... docks as we passed by them. They did not seem to be very interested in us. We had also seen otter briefly. One of the most interesting things we saw was an abandoned houseboat in the middle of the river. Not sure what happened to it but there were obviously belongings piled up outside the houseboat and it did look in disrepair and not in use.
