... coast and ended in Ft Bragg, where we found a great motel on the beach for a couple of days and we drove in town to watch the Giants at a great pizza bar and watched them open a can of wupass on the KC Royals inthe forst game of the world series.

Go Giants! Amazing day... humbling forest, amazing trees, and my son amazes me still...

... it was still late afternoon, the forest was so thick that it was eerily dark. In one hour, we only passed one car. I don't even want to think about what would have happened if we had had any car trouble! But we finally made it back to the Pacific coast and found our campground a couple of miles down the road.

... docks as we passed by them. They did not seem to be very interested in us. We had also seen otter briefly. One of the most interesting things we saw was an abandoned houseboat in the middle of the river. Not sure what happened to it but there were obviously belongings piled up outside the houseboat and it did look in disrepair and not in use.
