... not meet or exceed expectations. So, although it’s a major bummer, considering the vast landscape and number of miles and stops of this journey, one bummer isn’t too bad.

... and along the way, we learned from fellow campers that there were whales swimming in the ocean. Sure enough, we could see the pods - what an unexpected gift! Caroline and Catherine made a salad and spaghetti dinner for us. It was awesome. We decided to let the kids watch a DVD in the living room. They picked "Rio", which we had brought with us. By the time we went to bed, it was 11pm. Everyone was exhausted.
