... I was able to have an hours nanna nap whilst poor Steph was tackling the traffic it was as bad as Sydney' M5 at peak time.
That evening Krista and Shaun, the bride and groom had their rehearsel at the wedding venue whilst the rest of us kicked back watching good 'ole Steel Magnolias and having some snacks.
Winery Wednesday in the next entry... sounds better than work right ;)
... pops out at 2 viewing areas behind the falls themselves. Its pretty useless to do because all you see is a wall of white and have no idea where you are. There is an attractions pass that combines 4 different activities along and around the falls, but in all honesty if you just do the Maid of the Mist it would be good enough. Nobody needs to take a helicopter ride or go up the Skylon Tower (Space Needle ripoff) to see the 'perfect' view.
It was time ...
... pick them up, thanks to Brock, Ted and all. On return we prepared the EZ, completed the refuelling and we were soon ready to depart for our long flight around the Great Lakes of Superior and Huron to Hamilton on the western shore of Lake Ontario.
Not having the required authority, we could not route directly to our destination, but anyway, we would have much more to see going the long way round, and we've done a few long overwater crossings ...
... After watching CNN and other news reports the blizzard had brought a right mess along with it in other places! It is the next day now though, and the storm has subsided. Snow ploughs are working around the clock to get all the roads cleared (an activity that will take deep into the night i imagine..)
So since Brock closed its campus, we now get a snow day off ...
... try to remember as much as I can from Thursday could be a bit difficult. We had a traffic light party in Downtown at Baracuda pretty, was pretty fun ended up getting free drinks coz i used what colchy taught me and was DJing for a bit. The night got messy ended up getting back to the Berg at 3am and then decided to walk to Mc ***** (Candians have no idea what Maccas is). Ended up half my floor was at McDicks. Ended up staying up till 530am to watch the ...
