    I have made it back from my trip safely.

    This has been an amazing experience.

    I will now be heading to Washington state to start a job with Boeing as a Manufacturing Engineer.

    ... here, but they were not buying that the Greek God's were not the be all and end all. We walked all over the rocks and got goose bumps thinking that the apostle Paul walked all over these steps, and the philosophers spoke to the Athenians from there...man, think of what these rocks have seen and heard! And the view of Athens below was breathtaking.
    We kept hiking and stopped at the entrance to the Acropolis...man the sheer volume ...

    ... hotel.
    While making sure we had the right street on our Rick Steve's map a local businessman stopped to offer his assistance...and his business card and to show us his jewelry shop which has lovely jewels..."Please come in and see for yourself" while he took my hand...Shades of Spain when we were kanoodled into a leather shop!
    Dar took my other hand, thanked him and told him we would be by later...whew Artin Fine Jewels almost ...

    Probably a few years before CIA meant Central Intelligence Agency it meant Culinary Institute of America. When I was a kid we had family on my father's side who lived in the Hudson Valley not too far from Hyde Park. I began liking to cook already at a pretty young age and was fascinated by the big building we passed on Route 9 north of Poughkeepsie that I was told was a college for chefs.
