All went very well until I realized the boat was still moving forward after the length of my line should have stopped it... my stern line I had hastily tied to a cleat before running up to secure the bow had come loose. We had a short run from our anchorage in Houghtaling Island to Riverview Marine in Catskill where we put up our mast today. This is a very relaxed accommodating place... We had contacted them two days ago about staying over and stepping the mast and they said sure just let us know when you will be arriving. To our disappointment, our internet access at the anchorage last night was not very strong and a phone call was impossible- we were not even sure our ...

... find some that will take RVs under 30 feet. There are bathrooms with showers but we arrived on Memorial Day and they were dirty and stayed that way for our two day stay. The host site was not filled and I think maybe the hosts are responsible for the cleaning? Nice hiking trails high up along the Hudson River going to the Marina ...
