We worked until 12:30 with breaks to eat bakery food here and there. The bakery is actually quite a unique place, a completely vegetarian bakery selling completely vegan bread and using only organic products (including the oil). Whitehorse was not the town we had expected to find. Few relics of the past remain. At the end of the gold rush the own was almost abandoned but the building of The Alaskan Highway in 1942 saw it come to life again. It is now a busy modern town with lots of history. The Miles Canyon and Whitehorse rapids which are joined together lie deep at the bottom of a dam yet a perception of the might the once were can still be gained from what is still ...

... Frantic Follies Vaudeville Show where I learned a new song, I kissed her on her ruby red lips, but I left her behind for you. Dancing, singing, and a few funny stories kept the audience clapping.

... Diesel, jet A and jet B, all for the exploration. At first, just before the snow melt we had to work like bulls. Everybody wanted to have their barrels on huge sleds, to take out on the winter roads. It died down a bit right now, as everything is thawing, the hungry bears come out and people prepare for the summer. But it will soon pick up again.
