Siracha Prawns in Cedar Paper

... add garlic.Toss shrimp in the garlic, Sriracha and oil sauce.

Add three or four shrimp and some Thai Basil to each cedar wrap. Rolling with the grain of the cedar wrap; wrap the shrimp and tie with butcher’s twine.

Preheat the grill to 400ºF. Add cedar wraps to the grill. Grill the cedar wraps for between 7-10 minutes, or until they are pink and cooked through.

Serve the cedar wraps with a squeeze of lime and enjoy.

... Tim always tells me, "dessert is a separate food compartment in your stomach", so we headed in and emerged with two enormous ice-creams...

Now so full that we thought we would have to be rolled home, we staggered to the car and headed back to our lovely accommodation and the sanctuary of our fabulous bed to have a snooze. (Seriously, I wonder how we will cope when we are back in our normal lives and mid-afternoon snoozes are out ...

... blankets and on to the sand. After playing around for a bit don lit up the BBQ and it was sausages for lunch wow they tasted good, Harrison and Dons bromance was firmly cemented! There was a nice beach side museum telling the history of the costal peoples. Harrison loved playing in the display canoe! Tess had been going on about wanting to go for a swim in the ocean NOT the SEA Sarah ... There is a difference!! ...

... of our shopping bags when we got home. I have also taken a picture of our car for Julie.

The town is run by young people who clearly rotate their duties in shops and cafés with being out on the beach and growing their hair. Anyone who believes there are too many coffee shops in the UK just needs to stop here. Practically every other building delivers coffee of some description.

Overcast in the morning and some rain forecast. Went 'downtown' in the morning for a short walk, it's not a big place. Looked at some shops, bought two kids books; First Nations' stories.
Had a great coffee at Common Loaf Bakery.
Went out on the zodiac again, bear watching. It was very calm heading up the inlet and our guide quickly found a bear fossicking for food on a rocky beach on ...
