    ... Good shopping for me & JG with both of us substantially increasing our need to purchase an extra suitcase!

    Back in Napa we had no luck finding a grocery store but we did find a gelato store down by the river (more like mud flats). Very nice ice cream, worth the wait.

    Back to the Oxbow markets for the third day in a row to purchase more salad for dinner tonight. ...

    ... of those RARE occasions occurred, and I was WRONG. Mark the date on your calendars my friends as this occurrence happens less than a double blue moon in a month starting with Z. A COUPLE hours later, we departed this great place.

    ... taking winery. Situated just across from Artesa, we realized we'd seen it already from Artesa. This one had another marvelous patio overlooking the vineyard and the valley below. We perused the gift shop and we stumbled upon a book of the most notable wineries in Napa.     This morning after a great breakfast at Churchill Manor we said our goodbyes and headed back to San Francisco for our last two days before we head to New York. The Napa was well worth the visit - we just wish that we could stay a week to explore some more - we really didn't scratch the surface of this fantastic region.
