... 34 minutes to the real place. Well worth it is our opinion. When you drive up Route 66 to Pops, it looks as though a space ship landed with a giant, and I mean giant, sculpture of a pop bottle with a straw. Today, we drove into the city of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to visit the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum. Surprisingly, driving into Oklahoma City was rather easy until we hit all the detours downtown near the museum. ... a bit before we hit the rack. I think all three of us are sick and tired of the humidity. It really wears on you. We both agree that we could never live with the humid weather. Cheryl’s asthma has been giving her trouble since Florida so she is looking forward to getting back to drier weather.
