(Author's Note: Although this is dated in chronological order I've had to backtrack a bit since Internet access in Key Largo was been difficult, was having too much fun to check in, and too tired at the end to keep up.)

... up saying the weather was 91F and the sea was 85F! Thats warm. Spent quite a while down there before heading back to the hostel to collect my bag. My bus was at 5:30pm and that was the last bus so i couldn't miss it. 04/10/2009 - Last night Jim went down to the pier to meet Fred for some late night fishing. I popped down about 11pm and Jim was all on his own desperate to catch something. Fred had already given up hope and gone out for pizza instead. It was really spooky on the pier at night, pitch black with the only light coming from the moon. Finally before we got back on board (and as I was fighting the urge to hurl from sea sickness) we say a massive Ray, it must have measured around 7 feet from wing tip to wing tip, with a mottled blue back, as we came into range it gracefully glided through the water and was soon out of sight again. This was definitely the highlight of the trip. We made it back to the marina without loss of body fluids, and headed home to pack.

In the youth hotel in Miami Beach I met a Swiss girl, two German guys and a German girl. All nice persons, a little bit young (around 20/22) and lost so far away from home. Never mind, I'm 25 and got use to rent cars, so I go the agency rent a car then catch up with those guys at the break fast at the youth hotel, then during the talk I let them know about my plan to go to Key west today.
