      ... we navigated the enormous indoor complex looking at commercial aircraft, mail-delivery aircraft and military aircraft.

      In the William E Boeing 'Red Barn' we explored the birthplace of The Boeing Company in its original manufacturing plant. This area included rare artefacts, a factory workshop illustrating the build of early-day aircraft and the tools they used, along with exhibits of the early history of American aerospace.

      ... with the waffle with berries for entree, the garden veg/scrambled egg for main and the cheesecake parfait for dessert. All of the meals were amazing, and I was definitely full by the end. It was made even better by the fact the view was always different when you looked out the window.       ... the cruise terminal until a porter arrived to take our bags. Check in for the cruise was easy and soon we were on the ship. Returning to our cabin, after a salad and sandwich on the Lido Deck, our luggage was already waiting for us. We unpacked and could finally relax.

      ... She opened the briefing by telling the kids ( 8 girls and 10 boys aged 8-10) that because she was a school teacher she "knew all the tricks" which got a chuckle from the grandparents. Rules for the week included sitting with your grandparent(s) at meals and on the bus. Also no I pods, I pads, or electronic gadgets were allowed when on the tours! We immediately liked her.
