... wending its way beside the water. We crossed over the Fremont Bridge just as bells started ringing, warning that the drawbridge was to go up shortly. Jonathan got very excited, and disembarked from his bike ready to take some photos of the event. The drawbridge tower had a neon sign of Rapunzel in its window.

Once the spectacle finished and the boom gates went up, we rode off beside the docks admiring the many boats moored there, from ...

... it was pouring and decided to make it a lazy afternoon. We finally left for supper and ended the night walking to a gelato place which was super good. Now we need to organize our suitcases and get ready to wake up at 4am to fly back! Crazy our vacation is already over! chatted with them a bit and went to bed around ...

We woke up fairly early to grab brunch at Tasty and Sons in Seattle. I got the bacon and cheddar egg sandwich, with the flakiest biscuit ever. Soooo much butter I'm sure. Michael got couscous African sausage with a rum cake with bacon and banana. That was pretty fantastic. The bloodies were just meh. The ride to Seattle wasn't too terrible and went pretty quickly. We stayed in a lovely apartment In a great location, close to the convention center. ...

        - A weekend stay in Woodinville which is part of Washington's wine country. This state is incredibly beautiful, and we took the opportunity of this mini-break to rent a couple of bikes to ride along the Samammish River trail. This area is full of sportive, outdoors pursuits - followed by many wine options - so we were in heaven.
        - We connected with a dear friend of mine, Nita, with whom ...
