Bruce, our homestay host, worked long hours as an Intensive Care Nurse at the local hospital. However, we enjoyed trying to make his life a little easier by looking after his little dog called Oscar and taking him for the occasional walkies to do his 'business'.

We stopped in to Marina at Lighthouse just over the border to check out our three situations bothering us. We have been very welcomed here, have been given access to a truck, and have had wonderful dinners overlooking the lake with great company. We didn't hurry too much in the morning since we were going to stop just over the border at Rouses Point. We know someone there who can give us advice and possibly help with our fridge compressor and water leak in the motor. At this point we also know that our cockpit shower head is leaking so we have to keep it hanging out for no water to fall back into the boat.
