    Today we woke up to see a layer of frost and the outside temperature at 0 C. Since we felt we were past most of the scenery that we wanted to see we decided to take the Ohio turnpike toll highway and make better time.     Hi Everyone,

    Though this entry is way past overdue, I must admit that the past two weeks have literally been a whirlwind...

    Starting with a crazy, fun sleepover at the center on July 12th to say good bye to the kids as I prepared for surprising my parents back in the U.S.

    Followed by a potentially threatening and terrorizing typhoon sweeping through the Philippines on July 14-16th

    Leading to consequential flight cancellations and rerouting to Manila ...
