... and had a few drinks, too. Then they took us to a great place for some good southern cooking, complete with yummy BBQ sauce, pulled pork, mac& cheese, collards greens, and of course fried green tomatoes, and some pie to top it all off. It was delicious! We finished the night playing cards at their house, a new game for John and I - Monopoly Deal - I highly recommend ...

Since Monday, we've kept busy, walking each morning at a track behind the YMCA. It's about .8 of a mile. We're walking just over three miles, there, around and back to the Days Inn. We've met lots of friendly folks here. Most are amazed that we are from so far away and some aren't even sure where Montana is. I'm wondering myself, at this point.

Lynn made the pasties one night and then made here famous meat loaf ...

So, after trips on my own dime to Europe (twice), South America (twice), and China in the last six years, I'm starting to realize that not only has my expectations for a vacation increased....but the "needs" for the trip have increased.
