    Day 8. After a morning spent fitting a cupboard door, with some difficulty, we drove back the lovely Spa town,Buxton. We called at the "Druids" to catch up on the news, water the plants and tap into the wifi. A trip to the supermarket was needed to stock up on supplies for the weekend.     ... at home in the bar, had a pint of lager, and ate some yummy food. When the rooms became ready, we grabbed our bags, headed to the rooms, and crashed. Didn't want to sleep too long, We woke the girls up. They were so groggy, but we "made" them go swimming. Glad we did. We were able to take a shower before pizza and beer.     Week one gone, 208 miles covered and were still only 7 miles from Buxton. The Maintenance Department has had a very busy day. He tried to sort out the water heater that was still playing up, emptied the toilet and unblocked the washbasin waste all before fitting 3 cupboard doors. Just one left to fit ...
