    Threading my legs awkwardly, comically
    through the arms of his heavy winter jacket
    and donning the lighter one against the cold
    of the small hours in Unit 7 at the hospital
    sleep finally returns, accompanied by a stream of
    vivid, fantastical, anxiety-laden dreams

    Ken got back around lunch time with his catch ! And it was a good one - 4 Indonesian snapper and another fish, the name of it escapes me. Very proud !

    I tried to get Krystal to give one a kiss, "Rex Hunt" style ...

    Petra wouldn't touch them.

    ... the boys rode their bikes. Airlie Beach saw us take a trip to Whitehaven Beach then Hamilton Island. Whitehaven is almost pure white powdered quartz and only accessible by boat. A lengthy swim for the adults and a sandcastle building competition for the children was in order (Jett won, but Seth was the only other competitor).
