... descended we were greeted by a vast expanse leading to the lake prior to Lovell. It was our fear that, due to the flash flooding that had occurred in surrounding areas over the past several days that the road to Lovell was washed out or under water. Fortunately, neither were true and we were able to continue, unhindered, with our trip.

... long reservoir with loons no less. We got Nemo set up and gathered some driftwood off the shore of the reservoir. But the clouds rolled in it started to flurry. No worries, Nemo can take it. We crawled into the tent for a snack and a nap. Sadie too, she loves this tent.

June 22, 2013 - We left the Rally today after one more class on Fire Safety! ... have to show. I knew that if we went to the exhibit, we probably wouldn't visit it again the next time we are in Cody. So in the end, we decided to hold off on the historic center until we had more time to do a thorough walk through it.

So instead, we decided to visit the Buffalo Bill Dam just six miles west of Cody. Just the trip over there was worth it because you get to go through three tunnels directly through the mountains, one of which is close to 3/4 ...
