... descended we were greeted by a vast expanse leading to the lake prior to Lovell. It was our fear that, due to the flash flooding that had occurred in surrounding areas over the past several days that the road to Lovell was washed out or under water. Fortunately, neither were true and we were able to continue, unhindered, with our trip.

... long reservoir with loons no less. We got Nemo set up and gathered some driftwood off the shore of the reservoir. But the clouds rolled in it started to flurry. No worries, Nemo can take it. We crawled into the tent for a snack and a nap. Sadie too, she loves this tent.

The sun broke out about 3 pm so we started a campfire, with wet wood no less, not ...

... we left the lake area.  We were now passing between two sets of mountains with the road cut into one side of a gorge.  A crowd of cars was gathered by the road as we rode along, so of course we pulled over to see what everyone was looking at, it was a couple of big horned sheep, and they certainly had big horns!  We took our photos and continued on our way.  The mountain scenery opened out to the valley and forest and we were in ...

... We read an interesting newspaper article about high school teachers moving to Wyoming from Idaho because the pay was so much better. One teacher's salary went from $25000 to $57000 by the move. Wyoming has stated that they feel it is important to put the wealth from their resources into education.
