... or so chatting it up with Kristin, the flag girl on the road construction project. She seemed very excited to get to talk with people for a change, instead of staring at empty space. It helped the time go back to let my engine cool as well.

So after about 25 minutes, and with both fingers crossed, I started my Goldwing back up, and she sounded much, much better and ran nice and smooth. What a relief that was! So we said goodbye to Kristin, and off we went on ...

... drove, and drove, and drove, and saw more. Deer, antelope, wild(?) horses. We slept in Sheridan, where we had our cab driver take us into town to sample some of the local beer. I lasted for one, and was ready for bed!

Today we'll get to Yellowstone. We won't be able to spend nearly enough time there, but like I've said before, I'm calling this a preview trip!

As we neared Sheridan, WY, I was watching the clouds and enjoying the scenery along the way. The clouds on the horizon almost appeared to be snow on mountain tops. To be fair to the people in Dayton, WY, everyone is very nice and waves at you when they drive by you...reminds me of growing up in Oklahoma...but so far, no evidence of people eating people. What we have witnessed are tall tales of trout fish catches from the Camp Host who brags about catching 20 lbs. of fish whenever he goes fishing. April 27, 2010 Woke up at 0600 too late for 0530 early morning prayer. The kind Sisters knowing how tired I was from yesterday's long drive and scary start told me to please sleep in. I really thought I would wake up in time to attend but I again had some trouble falling asleep I think it was the salad bar I had last night before I arrived. It was delicious but I think I ate too much. Finally got up and took Susan's magic potient which did work don't know why I wait ...
