I made it to the top of the Scenic Overlook Trail and decided instead of doubling back and seeing the same scenery I had just walked I switched to the Big Pasture Trail that connected there. Left home at 6:30am this morning. My Aunt Carol Thomas, whom I dearly loved and admired, passed away this week. Attended her funeral in Corydon this morning and burial in Cambria. It is hard to believe that we will not see her anymore, but she lived a long and very good life. I feel so bad for her family... it is hard to switch into vacation mode...
