... and is quite pretty. There's a hiking trail of about a mile, but it was partly flooded and very mosquito-y, plus it was 90 degrees out, with rank humidity, so I turned around after a few minutes.
Back at the hotel, I enjoyed a little drinkie in the lounge (ducks had already returned home), where there was live piano music (mostly playing showtunes). It was pleasant.
... longer boat trips. (Many of long trip boats can't run in the very dry part of the year, the rivers are too low).
Pointing to some strange looking fruit and tasting it for the first time is something I loved doing. Trying to find out how much they wanted for it in their local currency (in the local language) was sometimes a story in itself. It took a lot of pointing and sometimes showing some local bills or a calculator with the price on it.

... ACTE put it very well "It is all about RESPECT". I have harped a lot about networking so I won't go into too much detail, but it is important. Knowing who to talk to in a critical moment can be crucial. Overall, I would say that I feel like I have learned quite a lot. I have learned about the industry, culture, history, and even myself. If this was all in just the first leg, I can't wait to see what the next leg has to offer. Until ...
... easier than I thought (it must be driven by excitement). I have been moving out of my current apartment, all while packing for this trip. In between all this packing and moving, I have tried to spend as much time as possible with my friends, family, and loved ones.
I cannot wait for what this adventure has in store, and cannot wait to meet and work with the Supplier Relations Team.

About 10 or so of the family met together in Newport, Arkansas and enjoyed a meal together just before I left for SE Asia.
