... dancing on the gentle waves below. With just a couple of miles to go and uninspired by the dinner ingredients, Steve dived into a roadside fish restaurant packed with (motor) bikers and came back with a pot of ceviche and a kilo of tortilla chips. Fifteen minutes later we were at the Leo Cabrillo campground and being directed to the hiker-biker area. This time, we were located just behind the waste disposal area - nice. ... and ended up at a clasic car show which nobody had expected. We ended the day by having amazing mexican food with some local beer.
Unfortunaly, the next day we had to say goodbye to both of them as it was time to move on to our next location - San Francisco.

Thank you Ruth and Charles for a fantastic time and thank you for the ice box... no more warm pate for John. Hope to see you in Europe soon.

... Malibu region and end up in a little beach called Leo Carillo. It's a little hidden, more private cove that Unjalee discovered. After parking up, we take a walk on the beach and around the rocks and in the coves. There is a wedding shoot (and I think later the actual wedding) in the cove we were at. One hall is dedicated to rotating exhibits and they are currently showing stained-glass windows which are temporarily removed from Canterbury Cathedral, and an illuminated manuscript that is being studied at their research institute.
