... visitor’s center. We were heading back there so he hopped in and told us some of his stories while we drove. He was in his 50s and had been hiking bits of the Appalachian trail for 10 years. He was also a deep sea diver and spent some times swimming around the shipwrecks in Nova Scotia. Overall a really cool guy! He was going to the visitors center to pick up some supplies for the next leg of his hike so we dropped him off and made our way ...

The road is windy and narrow but drivable. We ascend up over 3700 ft across the mountain tops. The Park campsites all full so we headed east into the valley towards ...

Before we went to bed last night, the RV was packed and ready to go. That made getting to church by 8:15 possible. We could not go out of town without Tommy registering to win the new Jeep at Newspring! The service was great and all the dads were recognized for Father's Day.
Our journey began around 10 when we got on I-85 heading north. We stopped outside Greensboro and made lunch. The GPS led us off 85 ...

... That made me laugh even harder especially cause we had to stick our heads completely out of the windows to be able to breathe properly! Too funny!!! But gross!!! Its currently nearly 11.30pm and way past my bed time but tomorrow is our day off so I guess I can sleep in but that's only if the rooster doesn't wake me up at 6am first! Lindsey is out for the night so I have the room to myself and it's super quiet! Love the peace and quiet though. Hoping for slightly warmer weather ...
