... Right! The Anchorage hospital, Providence, is pretty nice on the inside too. They put in three more stents (for a total of 8) and treated me with kid gloves. I was expecting anesthesia to be a bottle of whisky and a large wooden hammer. The surgeon was from Johns Hopkins and was in Alaska to get away from all the crazy running around on the east coast.
