... we camped in the backyard of both of them. We read that the last 'official' audit of the depository was in the 1930s. Hmmmm....wonder if it's all still there? Unfortunately, we weren't able to get our hands on any gold.

I managed to get a really bad cold so spent the day feeling miserable. Weather was pretty bad as well as was the traffic. This just comes under the heading, "Some days are just like that!". ... is friendly.After speaking to the butcher once , he greeted us every time he saw us.We mentioned this to the real estate lady and she laughed and said "we have been accused of talking your ear off". This has been a wonderful stay and best of all is the price. Thanks to our senior status we pay half price which is 10.00$ per day. We leave tomorrow for another COE campground in Carlyle ILL. ... yet another lesson learned. NEVER pass up a dump station! Good God almighty, it almost knocked my socks off as we rolled down the road and I decided to use the restroom. Apparently, multiple days of use in the driveway and this weekend was worthy of a dump station. Well, enough about that. Great news, we accomplished what we set out to do.
