On 9/7/13 will stay in Eddyville, Kaintuck...... possibly named after some of my Eddy relatives. Will try to find out.

Eddyville, the seat of Lyon county, was settled around 1798 and named for the eddies in the nearby Cumberland River.

Guess not. hahaha

... I was not as prepared to handle the rough terrain as I thought I was, I'm gonna need some off road practice.

I also got to see the Ft. Donelson National Cemetery where many generations of America's finest were laid to rest, including one Sheets (even he was just a baby at the time of his death, it still counts).

My stay here was relatively short but incredibly powerful.

... in the US. We drove on the road that runs down the middle of it called The Trace. The area is filled with campgrounds, marinas, trails and nature areas. We drove through the Elk and Bison Prairie and saw a few animals. A beautiful drive and very friendly people. ... deposits itself inside the cabin; and the skunk which we found out later that the owner's mother feeds!, (really?, really.). Now we know what that bowl of food was for that was setting on the ground just outside our cabin!!! We hastily hung all of our bike bags on the clothes rod, high and away from those crawly bugs, put the laundry in and went next door for dinner. More catfish and dinner buffet! This shows that during that period of segregation in our nation whites and blacks couldn't even share Mother Nature in such a massive park.
