Gavin and I left this morning for Yellowstone National Park. We are staying just outside the park this evening. The drive from Denver was fairly easy and I was surprised at the landscape in Wyoming.....expected it to be a little more "forrested." And what a Podunk town Laramie is!! A little leveling and we were set for "dry camping" and an excellent meal heated up on the propane stove. We're in the middle of Wyoming, in the "big" town of Lander. It's got 8,000 people, which is huge compared to some of the places we've stayed at. Our smallest so far had a population of just 119. Lander has traffic lights, something we've not seen for a while.
