... and looked up a mate of mine, Bart, a fellow writer and a great storyteller. With his lovely wife Marion, we dined with their friends and swapped stories into the evening. Bart then took us for a quick tour of some of his stories around Riverton, before sitting in the backyard, stargazing and chatting until well past our bedtimes.

... around 85 degrees and the hot tubs around 100 degrees. As we sat in the hot tub we talked with a father, an Arapahoe who told us the reservation is 3.2 million acres. He talked about his ancestorsliving in tepees in near this site and seemed very interested in us and Maine. He suggested a campsite near the reservation on the Wind River in the Wind River Canyon, at Boysen State Park.

... s a really fast horse but also very kind and trained extremely well. I went first and rode Barry. It was very fun. I made him turn around, go left and right etc. it felt really awesome to be on the horse. Danny had a go as well. His first horse riding experience and he loved it. We had the best time. After that we quickly sledded down a little hill on a disk shaped sled. It was so much fun! But at this point my toes were numb and my legs were frozen.
