... the event for upcoming years.

Arrived in Butte around 5:00 PM and Dave and Nancy Baum arrived shortly thereafter.

They came to our camp for drinks and snacks and then we went to Casagrande in town for dinner. Dex had a Japanese Kobe steak….the best he's ever eaten his believes.

A great dinner for us all and fun company.

... Scott and Darrell (yes, really!) - two really friendly, chatty guys from Tennessee. We also did some climbing at Wild Iris, nearby, and another day at Sinks. ... Wyoming, and through Cheyenne towards our destination for the night at Lander, stopping only for a driver change and pit stop at the Lincoln Memorial just outside of Laramie, and petrol at Rawlins.

... the lack of tourists meant that we made such good progress that we soon reached our turn off at Moran and soon after left the park.

The mountains and forests soon gave way to bad lands, broken eroded ground, cut with gullies and dry washes. This made for great photos, with some beautiful colours, but it didn't last long. The badlands gave way to prairie land.
