We had four nights at the Basswood RV Resort. It was a perfect place to relax. Our site was right on the Fish Pond where we could see the Big fish swimming around. One day we took a ride to Leavenworth and saw the penitentiary. It was ...

Today was the first day that we had to take a very windy path to be able to go the direction we wanted to go without getting on the interstate. Everywhere we rode had been flooded a few years ago. You could see water lines about 4 feet up on houses and most of them looked like they had been abandoned. ...

Ok sleep last night in spite of having only one earplug. It helps to be tired and to have lots of white noise by way of the AC. Got up early and got in a short workout before hitting the road. Took a bit of hunting around to find diesel for the VW this morning but eventually found some.

Highlight for Lori was spotting a mailbox outside of the truck stop. Woo ...
