    I completed my second last day of the Cornwall Coastal Walk so have now done over 100 miles and have just 6 to go. Weather was strange, virtually no sun, just cloudy skies with mist and rain towards the end.

    If you are as tired of coastal scenery as I am becoming, you may want to defer looking at the blog until at least 13 June because today and tomorrow are again by the coast and on the 13th I'll be on my way to Paris. However, if you ...

    ... forward to seeing, the apparently cute village of Mousehole, and I'm hoping the tides will be kind to me so I can walk across to St Michael's Mount, and it will be fun to say I've been to Lands End. I was also looking forward to seeing Penzance the final destination of the walk on Friday, but I'm told it has fallen on tough times and is quite run down and unattractive nowadays..

    ... The relaxed Cornish way of life, the sleepy little fishing villages and hamlets, the oh so pretty holiday beachside towns along with the beautiful sunny weather we have experienced on our walk have all added to the wonderful memories. Sore legs and feet aside, the walk has been magnificent and Cornwall is yet one more of the places that has got under our skin. We will be back for more walks on the South West Coast - of that we are sure.

    ... she reckoned the queues were too long! Two weeks after returning to Oz, she needed life threatening emergency surgery for secondary cancer in the bowel. Her survival was just one of miracles Cate pulled off.)

We walked down by the harbour then went to 'wreckers' cafe where we all had a cream tea.
