... an hour later the sun was out and we were immersing ourselves in the hot pools. ... built a frame over the farm tractor to look like an engine. The beauty of it is that it can weave in and out of the mall areas where no buses can go. It was a great tour and very informative. I didn't realise that it was an earthquake that caused the fires that razed the town. The earthquake hit in 1931 however the city was rebuilt and functioning in 2 years. Craftsmen were brought in to train people in the crafts needed in reconstruction.

All of my spare time is going into planing So I brought a flight to Vancouver $1100 NZD I leave on the 21 of September at 8.00pm from Auckland airport for a 13hr flight. And arrive in Canada at 2.30 pm on the 21st of September. ... and we were fascinated by it. On our way back we had a great lunch at a cafe just by the harbour, the weather was stunning. We enjoyed a meal at a near by restaurant that night and fine dining it was not, our wine was poured into a tumbler to the very top, Sheryl and I had to sip it before we were able to pick it up, the waiter was a character and it was a fun night, nice to be back in Vancouver. Tomorrow we are off to grouse ...
