... a small permanent population of about 2,000 which swells to many times that in the summer months. It's a popular surfing destination too. A bit like the Byron Bay sort of vibe. We are staying in a funky little hostel which seems to cater for the younger backpacker type travellers. There is a dorm room and two private rooms with ensuite (we have one of these). Back at camp we enjoyed a fire and s'mores made with our favorite—Reese's. ...

... nutritional requirements!. From there we stopped at the famous Long Beach to check out the surfers and walk the beach. It was on the cool side and somewhat overcast at this point but it is a beautiful spot regardless of the weather. We enjoyed a long walk before returning to the car and making our way to our hotel to check in and get settled. The rooms have kitchens so we were able to have a nice dinner in our room, followed by a little walk, before calling it a night. ...
