Whale watching!
... a few came close enough to get a picture it was still an awesome sight! Howie took us out into the ocean and then killed the engine and we just sat and watched them all pass us! I definately want to see a Blue Whale before I die! He also showed us the resident sea lion colony and seals which was a great sight too! It was a great morning. We stopped at Port Alberni to take in the views of the boardwalk and marina – the water was glistening so still and clear. I loved the Native Indian artwork that we found along the boardwalk. The spirit of the Native Indians can be felt interwoven into the fabric of the West Coast – the trees, the mountains, the water – so peaceful and beautiful.
