... us try some early grey milkshake they were making...sounds awful I know but actually teasted a little like Baileys. Our other favourite cafe in Tofino is the Common Loaf Bake shop which do some inventive buns and cakes!

... a few came close enough to get a picture it was still an awesome sight! Howie took us out into the ocean and then killed the engine and we just sat and watched them all pass us! I definately want to see a Blue Whale before I die! He also showed us the resident sea lion colony and seals which was a great sight too! It was a great morning. What was special about this trip is we were the only boat out watching the whales, we took the trip at 10.30am and whislt out ...

We stopped at Port Alberni to take in the views of the boardwalk and marina – the water was glistening so still and clear. I loved the Native Indian artwork that we found along the boardwalk. The spirit of the Native Indians can be felt interwoven into the fabric of the West Coast – the trees, the mountains, the water – so peaceful and beautiful.
