Lone whales do not join other pods when they have lost their own family. He was always sighted by himself and the crew seemed very fond of him. Made me miss the beach at home a bit... However my most favourite thing about this place is that the showers are included in the nightly rate. I'm so used to coin showers and washing myself super quick so I don't get caught with shampoo in my hair when time's up. Well tonight I had time to wash ...

... to Gastown instead. Cool & trendy part of town, cute shops & patios. Did some souvenir shopping and had some lunch. Went to the Old Spaghetti Factory and sat on their patio. Nice place, great service and cheap! Decent food too, though I didn't appreciate it like I should since I was stuffed from a big breakfast (if I'd known I was staying in town I wouldn't have had such a big breakfast but oh well).

Then headed straight to the ferry ...
