Westport is sure active, busy, picturesque, perfectly situated, and a lot of fun to be at. We were impressed with the TONS of fish being unloaded by boats, three or four, sometimes five full up to the gunnels with what looked like tuna. We were told it all goes to Japan. What? Let them catch their own stinking fish, dang it.

Dan and Danny came down for a couple of days, and we always have fun with them because they're so full of life. So we rode bikes, hiked on the beach, dug in the sand, flew kites, sat around a huge campfire, etc. Dan's trailer is perfect for them and now that all the equipment was replaced and is new, it works great.

The prettiest part of the trip were the conservation lands just South of South Bend. The wetlands were striking in comparison to the dense rainforest a we had just traversed.
