    ... of people to the games. Grandma had bought us some tickets and we had places to sit but couldn't find them....and then it started to really rain! We made dry places to sit with plastic bags and ate our picnic watching the tug-of-war. In the distance i could see people running up the hill for the hill race.     After breakfast this morning we went for a cycle along the Ness river in Inverness - there was a cycling tour in town and it reminded us of "The Big Rides" back home, seeing all the cyclists meeting up then heading out of town.
    After checking out of our hotel we headed for the Malt whisky trail, stopping at the Glenfidditch distillery in Dufftown where we went on a free 1 hr tour of the distillery ending with tasting of 12 yr old, ...

Now we had another problem as we are moving every few days and have nowhere to send the luggage to if they find it.     ... This is the closest town to Balmoral, the royal family's Scottish summer home. There are a number of shops with royal warrants, which you can see in the photos. It's another pretty town, and our B&B is quite similar to the one we were in last night. We also drove to Braemar for a look around there. Tomorrow we're planning to visit Balmoral to see the Queen.     ... the car. Getting out we noticed a de-humidifier had been placed in the bedroom window and was switched on. Looked like all the handymen had gone home and the cottage was ours again. However, when we entered inside and opened the door to our bedroom, it was all empty, the plaster was hangning loose from the ceiling and the carpet had a gigantic water spot on it.
