Got off the ship at about 9.30 and everything went smoothly. Taxi to airport. Luggage was about 2kg over but we got away with it. Flight left on time and landed early. Paul was working till 4pm but met us off the airport bus at Ferry Toll (Inverkeithing). ...

... some snow patches to cross, and thence to the rocky summit and spectacular cliffs. As we enjoyed the summit views there was a roar of a plane and we were treated to the sight of an RAF typhoon flashing down below us in the Lairig Ghru! We met the rest of the party as we started our descent, and enjoyed their company for some of the descent as a few clouds bubbled up and the wind increased.
A great day to end an excellent week
... is a bit of a right off due to the waether, but looks like it would be wouth coming back to. We arrived by ferry but get off in a different area by bridge a really big bridge lol. Sun is starting to stream through and the countryside lights up.
We are now heading into some serious mountain ranges, this area is so desolate, sooooo high and rugged with waterfalls and streams flowing everywher. Them mist returns and gets thicker the more we get into them. Icannot describe ...
... and find myself heading up the other side of Glen Lawers and on the road to the summit.
Of course, just like it was on the west side of Glen Lawers the road got more white the higher I went and soon there was that old sign again "Road Closed"!! Anyone know what that means?? I certainly don't;-)
