Best spot in Thailand Beach Resort

It was an awesome experience to stay at Nikki beach Thailand Resort. We did not have any plan and we did not have any idea where to go. Then suddenly we decided to go to Nikki Beach Thailand Resort. Believe me it was an excellent spot to go for an outing. The room, food, support staff of the room staff and almost everything are excellent. We simply enjoyed our fullest. Nikki Beach Thailand Resort rocks.

Exploring downtown Saint John

... to pick up maps of Ontario and Quebec and hoped to get some guidance planning the trip home - we were very disappointed with that service at CAA but we did get some ideas of things to see in Saint John. Arriving downtown, we parked our vehicle next to a wall drawing of Stomping Tom (Brian’s favourite (-haha-) musician and had to get a photo!!! We then started our exploration of the historical downtown Saint John. Saint John’s ‘claim to fame’ is that is it the ...

The Power of Nature's Forces !

... continued on through the park until we found the Coppermine trail. Enroute, we passed through a covered bridge - a 1992 reconstruction of the covered bridge that was originally built in 1910 to service the Point Wolfe sawmill and coppermine. The coppermine trail hike was longer, and more rugged in places, taking us through thickly forested areas with occasional breaks looking out over the Bay of Fundy. The end of the trail was the location of an old coppermine - not a lot to see ...

Our Visit to Saint John, New Brunswick

... because the Gulf of St. Lawrence was within eye shot, and I wasn’t sure if it would flood and send us all into the gulf. Upon waking someone noticed the tree outside our cottage had fallen on the deck.

So our day began once again at the local Tim Horton’s for coffee and bakery fare. It was misting and dismal outside. We began the trip to New Brunswick, but we had to take the Confederation ...

Wedding central!

I arrived yesterday in Saint John, and was immediately immersed in the wedding festivities. The rehersal dinner/groom's party was at the Yacht Club and there were a lot of people there. The Groom's family is gigantic.
Good times though - drinks and appies and plenty of intersting people to talk to.
This morning the house is filled with girls getting thier make up and hair done in preparation for the big day ...

Pre-Trip Thoughts

... they live in Alberta, anyone who didn't go to Mexico missed the action. So they decided to fly home and have a "second wedding". Minus the ceremony and that, just a straight-up party.

Anyways, time is flying by. This summer's weather has been ****, so I'm looking forward to some real heat again. I'll try and do a better job at keeping up with this blog, but due to internet connections, might just have to update ...

En route towards the sun......

... trip to Cuba and security problems, I know there's nothing illegal in there, so why is it put aside? The officer scrutinized everything, passing some type of long wand with the tip covered in fluffy cotton. I was as intrigued as he was, dying to ask but certainly refrained; after a while, he couldn't find anything wrong and let me go. Geez these people can make an honest person worried to death and ...

USA to Canada

... desperate need of a hair cut.  Really unusual place but a guy about our age running it and turns out this use to be his fathers business.  Well not only did Brent get his hair cut but I also got a trim and it wasnt that bad a job.  I would even say I thought it was good.  We laughed about it for the next 30 miles as we headed to Saint John NB.  We took the long way there along the coast, as you do and arrived as luck would ...

From Rogersville to Saint john

After a heated debate, I won by sitting in the truck with my duffle bag, ready to go to Florida, I was not to be left behind while some stranger would take my place in the sun. Renald was so "marabout" and let me know about it all the way, that by the time we drove by Saint john, I was ready to get out and hitch hike back home, pregnant! We managed to stop arguing and put our disagreements aside from then, so we both could enjoy the ride, or else, it would be a damn long one!
