A travel blog entry by marlwhite on Sep 11, 2014

... a busy town. Bought Xmas decorations for children and also went to Waitrose to buy some food.Unfortunately the surrounds were very hazy and unable to get photos of the lovely green rolling hills with little villages amongst the trees and sheep and cows grazing in the fields. Took photos of houses etc in Abbotsbury as a quaint village. After a long day's drive reached Weymouth about tea time. Ate at a nice little restaurant called Shelley's ...

Emily, (our GPS voice) had finally got her act together and was leading us in the right direction, not sure what the silly cow was doing before that but we arrived at the Park Central Hotel on the beach at Bournemouth just on dark at 4.00pm The reception staff were just lovely, as I continued to use that ...

... Everyone hopped on and we headed to Stonehenge. Stonehenge is an ancient stone sculpture, no one knows how the stones got there or how they were moved all the way across the country, but many people have their own theories. After Stonehenge we all loaded the bus and headed out to find food. We stopped at this little restaraunt on the side of the street where we all had an amazing lunch with some locals. They were all ...
