As a huge fan of Elvis' music (early leather jacket Elvis, not jumpsuit Elvis) it was a good little afternoon stroll listening to some great music, which was a nice way to finish up our time in Liverpool. So it looks like we'll be getting some more rain so it was suggested we all pick up some cheap shoes in case we wanna throw them out after some of the excursions if it rains. This place had like 4 floors of cheap goodness. Could've gotten lost for hours but got 2 pairs & socks for 8 pounds! Great deal! Will definitely be hitting it up before I go ...

... to see the first part of a "last night at the proms" free concert, before heading out for dinner. Just before we walked back to the car a thunder and lightening stormfront with torrential rain passed over us and it was lucky we had remembered to take umbrellas. When we got back from dinner at about 9.30 you could still hear the brass band and the crowds singing "Old Lang ...
