      ... with the lavish Emirates terminal which is the hub for their fleet of A380s. The speed and ease was a vast improvement over other airports that I've been to.

      Outside, the city is a bustling with life, the streets full of crazy traffic. We stayed in the Sheraton Deira, in the older part of the city which isn't far from the airport. From the rooftop, we caught a glimpse of the Burj Khalifa in the distance, which we would be visiting the next evening.

      ... you'd think this would be standard, but it isn't always. There was ample space for luggage stowage and the best bit was that each bed had it's own lamp, shelf and powerpoint. It's funny how little things like this can make your stay. Each time you get into a room you establish where everything is and how you will organise yourself. This room is very comfortable.
