The unexpected 3:30 to 4:00 conference call really threw me into a panic as I was sitting at the dining room table on my laptop, phone and iPad surrounded by all of my clothes. After the call I began tossing everything into the bag and racing around the house grabbing toiletries and some meds "just in case". So, the 4:30 departure time did not happen! Her grandparents are picking us up and taking us to their house for the night and tomorrow we'll drive the rest of the way (4 hours) to the ferry that crosses to the island. I'm so thankful for Laura and the fact that I can get to the island with her. The next two weeks are going to be ...
