door getimmer en andere bouwgeluiden. We staan dan maar op en
proberen in La Libertad te geraken, bij de supermarkt. De
chickenbus laat op zich wachten , maar uiteindelijk zien we ze. De

... arrived full of day trippers from San Salvador. These were mostly women, young and old, and children, who settled on the benches at the waterfront and set about consuming their picnics. At 2.00pm they all went off on boat trips and it became blissfully quiet again. We slipped into our old “jubilado” ways and spent a very pleasant couple of hours sitting on a bench admiring the views of the lake and watching the Salvadoran tourists.
