I was able to crash while Viktorija was busy with errands. She was able to turn her double bed into two singles. She lives in a hostel and the room is comfy and warm. She offers me a homemade liquer before lights out, I forget what it was but it tasted good!

At about 16:30 I decided to catch the train back to Riga at which time I returned immediately to my hostel to get my gear together in preparation for my flight to Liverpool tomorrow morning. Mish is currently in transit on her way to the UK from Australia and I cannot wait to meet back up with her in Liverpool around midday tomorrow. I had a quiet night in, enjoying a couple of tasty Latvian lagers.

Getting into Latvia has been refreshing. Estonia is much like Scandinavia but as I have headed south it has got more like I imagined countries which used to be part of Russia would be.
