O my goodness! What did I get myself into?
'Dis so glad soos snot!' Translated: The snow is VERY slippery!
We made it through the first day and we are all still in one piece.
The kids enjoyed every moment and want us to take them skiing, but I think its dangerous for Charl and I to take responsibility for anyone else.

We arrived at 5pm after a very long day traveling.
The hotel staff are very well organised and we were checked in, in our rooms (the luxery suites have a fantastic view over the mountains), cocktails in hand within 30min.
Then we got our ski boots, ski's, ski poles, helmets and ski lessons booked. And for good measure some massage sessions for the week.

... be in a good position to ride into Milan tomorrow afternoon for the game that evening. I knew that I had to get to Brig quickly however. This is where The Simplon Pass started and I needed to allow myself the afternoon to take it on.
