    Exploring Rhine River!

    An hour drive from Trier, we finally reached Koblenz. Got to see a piece of Berlin wall, had a typical German meal Schweinshaxe (Pork Knuckle with mashed potato and Sauerkraut) pair with a local beer! Yum! After our meal, we headed to the cruise port for an hour ride to explore the Rhine River.

Then I walked up to the Abby remains and castle/hostel up on the hill near the town. everyone else was a little tired so they headed back to the room. then i headed down the castle down along the wall remains passing some crazy vineyards that practically ho straight down....and back through town and up the hill to our room.     ... to get to Germany! After a few hours of driving, we reached the Rhine valley and drove down the mountains with the beautiful view of vineyards covering the entire landscape.
