... a nursing home. Physically she is in great shape, but she is suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and can no longer live alone. Only once did she recognize Roy and at other times when he had to explain to her who he was, she kept telling him to shave off his mustache! Roy’s niece Tanya has been providing most of her day to day care and for that we are extremely thankful.

... have been more “at risk” during the storm, we are now much better off than most people in the region. We have 450 amp hours of batteries, an engine to charge them, 6 months worth of food, 100 gallons of water, a propane heater and stove with fuel to run them for weeks, dozens of books and games, internet, and each other's company.
