The good lord blessed our trip by pouring holy water from the sky on us all day long today. We were on the road by 6:08am, and 14 wet, cold hours later, we made it to our first destination: Pawnee, Indiana. Just kidding! We're in Chesterton, Indiana at the lovely Indiana Dunes State Park on Lake ...

... Line on account of I had to go with the experience of Gary Stevens. Missed it by one length. Hey, how about you just make a donation to our trip instead of betting on the horses next time okay?

In other news, Tioga Road, a.k.a. Rt 120 thru Yosemite is opening on May 4. This is good, it would be a very long way from Groveland to Lee Vining if we had to go AROUND Yosemite.

Well, I've fooled around with this way too long. Catch you next time.

Well, like I said, it's going to be an expensive trip. No pressure, but if you want to donate there's a nifty PayPal button right on the front page.

Well, I've got to go now. This blogging could become an obsession if I'm not careful or so I've been told. Plus we have more planning to get to and our trip is only four weeks away. Y'all come back okay?
