    ... in Montesano for breakfast. After that we were to go to Westport. Well Winnie decided to flash the check engine light to us??? We found an Auto Zone and had them do a diagnostic test, it says something about a bad coil. Oh dang. Its Sunday and the Ford dealer is closed. So we are parked across the street from the dealer.

    ... be a great place to stay for a few days in the summer. We walked this beach. There was a sign warning about consumption of the crab. Seagulls were feasting, the tide had just gone out and there were pieces and parts of little crab everywhere. Some clam and oyster shells. Again walked up and down the beach, picked up a few unique rocks for the little kids.

    A lot of hours on the road today, but worth it to explore the story of Mt. St. Helen, its eruption in May 1980, and the eruption's catastrophic effect on the surrounding area.     ... to do anything special for dinner tonight, so pizza at the pizza shop across the street was all we needed. Tomorrow is just a travel day as we make our way to Portland, OR. We will be staying slightly east of Portland in a place called The Dalles, at the entrance of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. It should be great!
