A quick shopping trip before heading home. I got a pair of pants for 1.99 then with my teachers discount I got 10% off my purchase so ended up not paying for the pants just the capris... gotta love a good deal... headed North to Canada shortly after noon... Great ...

... for a drink. We had our drink almost gone when they finally arrived – obviously having had a drink or 2 before our meeting! Of course they needed one more and even suggested we continue our shopping! Hmmmmm.......somethings not right here. On interrogation, they admitted to finding Jamesons Tavern which is in the oldest original building in Freeport and where the signing of the state of Maine's independence charter was signed in ...

... but BE, just be. Two weeks ago when I was suppose to leave originally...I wasn't ready to go. After these past two weeks, I can now truly say, I am. It was a blessing in disguise to have to wait. Everything works out somehow. It really does.

Right now though, it is very much a whirlwind, and this blade of grass ...

... We even saw some sort of huge web on a lot of the trees which made it more like a scene from one of Stephen King's books. Lots of bugs hitting our wind shield along this route, and we even passed a few wild turkeys. Saw lots of bikes as we approached Bangor, but no one had helmets as Maine is one of those states with "no helmet laws'. Great day all around. Traveled about 600 km today. Hope to make it to Lincoln, New Hampshire ...

... a few years ago. It's like chicken salad only with lobster (the real deal is simply chunk lobster with a bit of mayo to hold it together) and a grilled New England hotdog roll. I don't know why it's different from steamed lobster, but it is. Young's must have paid off someone at the magazine. It was huge chunks of lobster, a dab of mayo, two pieces of lettuce, on - worst of all - a hamburger bun. ...
