... actually made $78 (6.5 hours), still poor but better than a kick in the teeth. That night I worked my other 'job', dropping off 2 and picking up 1 person from the coach. I had to pick up 1 person on the morning of Monday 6th, before heading off to the blueberry farm again. A very short day of work because there are barely any berries to pick, we only worked for 4.5 hours! A much anticipated trip to the Big Banana was our plan for today. We set off for Coffs Harbour around 10.00 as we knew it would take at least an hour to get through all the road works and speed reductions along the road. This year Peter attempted the Canning Stock Route which is one of the most challenging desert bike treks in the world.
