Today we got up early and headed off for Repton (near Coffs Harbour). We stopped off at Grafton to wash the van and arrived at the caravan park at 11am. Janice and Steve were already there, having got there just 10 minutes before us. It is a lovely caravan park right on the Bellinger River. The next day he decides to fish in the sea and finally catches one Dart approx 20cm long after throwing back 30. It only took 2 hours. Entrée tonight is Dart al la Freeman.

... I crossed the road and sat there watching the water. I did not move a lot, and see, on the dead branch that hung over the water I see, a kingfisher! There he goes for a dive, plouf in the water, back up on the branch... watches and hopla, dive, plouf, back on the branch. Oooohhh I was so happy to see that! I did not move an inch, until I realised my feet and ankles were itching, damned, mosquitos! So I ran away from my little kingfisher to be inside, protected by mosquito nets ;-)
